This Substack exists because life got too nuanced for captions.

Over the past few years, I’ve gone through divorce, financial rebuilding, remarriage, a baby at forty, career pivots, wildfire evacuations, boundary lessons I apparently needed twice, and enough reinvention to qualify as a second career. Some of that you saw publicly. A lot of it needed more context than social media allows.

That’s what this is.
