Hi. I’m Nicole.

I like context. Always have. The backstory, the part under the headline, the stuff people usually skip because it’s complicated, messy, or still evolving. Real life rarely fits neatly in captions, and honestly, neither do I.

You might know me from quitting corporate America live online and turning that leap into a multimillion dollar business. Or from my New York Times bestselling memoir, a television show, speaking and consulting, or raising four daughters in a way I definitely did not see coming.

You might also know I got divorced. Rebuilt financially. Remarried. Had a baby at forty. Learned that boundaries are less of a personality trait and more of a survival skill.

That’s why this space exists.

Context Is Everything is where I talk about what rebuilding actually costs. Money after divorce. Business while parenting. Faith when outcomes feel uncertain. Post-divorce sex, because yes that deserves honest conversation. Having a toddler at forty-one when your friends are planning empty nests. And the occasional co-parenting plot twist that keeps humility alive.

Will there be gossip? Possibly. With the divorce I had, a little mess is statistically unavoidable. It won’t be reckless or mean, but it will be honest. And longtime readers already know there’s more to the “why I got divorced” story. We’ll get there.

Some posts stay free.

Paid subscribers get closer access. Live office hours. Small in-person gatherings when I’m in your city. Strategy notes, worksheets, vendor lists, and practical tools I usually keep inside client work.

This isn’t curated perfection or hustle propaganda. It’s a thoughtful room for people building real lives in real time.

If you’re new, you’ll catch up quickly.

If you’ve been here awhile, you know how I move.

I build.

I rebuild.

And I tell the truth about both.

Glad you’re here.

Nicole
